Baking as we know it today was not the same in the earlier years, let us have a look, the earliest form of baking, the bread baking can be traced back to Greece 600BC. Ancient Egyptians were the first to start the process of baking bread using yest, which also was used in brewing beer. The word cake has been derived from the Old Norse word “kaka”. According to Oxford dictionary the word “cake” relic back to the 13th century. The history of cakes dates back to early times. Initial cakes were way too different from today’s exotic cakes. The cakes in olden times were more bread-like with sugar or honey added to them.
Experts as well as historians have claimed that the first modern cake was baked by europeans, it was a round cake with icing on top of it.

Modern day baking is mostly dependent on machines. Now bakers prefer to control the machine operations, rest all work and labor is done by automated machines. These high-tech machines have made the baking process easier, efficient, and they produce products with more quality.These days’ bakery products are in great demand, as people want to spend less time cooking for them. They rely on unique kinds of bakery products like ready made breads, slices, pizza and patties which make the mass of their meals. Now a days the kids especially love to have various bakery products in their lunch.
