Marshmallow Cake

One of the favorite ingredients of children, MARSHMALLOW has been better frosting on the cake in recent years. There is much more demand for it as it can be better sweetener than candies. Marshmallow is basically made up of sugar, corn syrup, gelatin and contains a little bit of air, it is a kind of foam that stabilizes gelatin.

History says Egyptians were the first to enjoy a gooey treat which is now called a marshmallow Moreover, some claim that the mallow plant’s roots were used to soothe coughs and sore throats to heal wounds.

The marshmallow is basically used for frosting, icing, or decoration. As it melts at 40 degrees C, the marshmallow is used as icing and can spread very well which gives a better base of icing, the texture of the marshmallow will give different look to the cake.

Marshmallow cake can be made very easily by just using it as icing and decorating it in an oven or microwave. To make the chocolate buttercream from marshmallows, use a stand mixer with the paddle attachment on medium-high speed to beat marshmallows in a bowl for 6-8 minutes or until pale and creamy. Reduce speed to low. Add icing sugar, cocoa powder, and milk. Beat until well combined. Increase the speed to medium-high and beat for 3-4 minutes or until fluffy.

The taste and texture make the cake delicious as well as mouth-watering.
