Blueberry cheesecake is a high-protein cake that was used to feed the athletes of the Olympic Games in Greece. It was an eventful dessert for that time.
This cheesecake is made of sweet texture and contains 2 or more layers of cheese. Mainly thickest, layer consists of a mixture of soft, fresh cheese, eggs, and sugar. Cheesecake has a different taste. It tastes very similar to cream cheesecake, which is one of the main ingredients but also has a sweet flavor with some tangy changes. The base of a cheesecake adds to the taste as well, depending on what it is made with.
Ingredients:
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 tablespoons sugar
1/3 cup butter
2 packages of cream cheese
1 cup cream
3 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons flour
3 eggs
2 cups frozen blueberries, dry pack
⅓ cup blueberry jelly
How to make Blueberry CheeseCake:
Step 1: Combine crumbs, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and butter. Mix into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
Step 2: Mash cream cheese until soft and creamy. Gradually beat in sour cream, 3/4 cup sugar, vanilla, and flour. Beat in eggs one at a time.
Step 3: Pour the mixture into a crumb-lined pan. Bake in a preheated 325 degree F oven for 1 hour or until firm to the touch.
Step 4: Cool and then remove the cake from the pan by loosening the edges with a knife. Place frozen blueberries on top of the cake. Melt jelly and spoon over blueberries to glaze. Chill until ready to serve.
